The Solution?

Simplified:

Someone Else

The essence of the gospel is the Solution is Someone else!

Not Myself

Beyond Me. So far beyond me.

Every religion points to self, except one.

The Solution is the Savior.

The Solution is Salvation.

The Solution is Simple.

Cabinet, cabinet, cabinet, close that cabinet door.

This solution is what you want right now.

This solution is beyond measure.

This solution is trusting Christ.

The solution is everlasting.

The solution is exponential.

The solution is Calvary.

The solution is not confusing.

The solution is not within me.

The solution is provided by God alone.

Are you looking to solve a big problem?

Solve the largest problem you will ever face.

Solve the longest-lasting consequences.

Solve for the hunger of your soul.

Solve for assurance of knowing you found the final solution.

Would you like to hear a super-size promise:

God is able.

He says, "I will save.”

“Hwill save us.” according to Isaiah 33:22

“But I will save them … , and will cleanse them: so shall they be My people, and I will be their God.” Ezekiel 37:23

“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.” Isaiah 45:22

“I am the Door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be [deep breath in here] saved” John 10:9

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be [boom!] saved." Acts 2:21

“Neither is there salvation [available] in any other: for there is none other Name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12

We MUST be saved.

That means we are NOT saved to start with.

In Acts 11, God sent Peter …

“Peter [the witness of Christ] who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.” Acts 11.

You can be a witness for Christ. Just like Peter.

“Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Acts 16

Why your house? Because when you truly get the gospel of Christ in you, it cannot be contained! Sharing becomes inevitable.

“Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” Romans 5:9

Write it on your heart.

Saved … from wrath .. through Him.

Put that on a billboard. Flashing lights.

“Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” Romans 5:9

There is no other plan of salvation available anywhere.

“For if, when we were enemies [of God], we were reconciled to God by the death of His [dear] Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” Romans 5:10.

That’s an amazing verse. We are going to unpack that box.

Notice. By the life of Christ. “saved by His life.” Not kept by my own life. Not reconciled by my own living. Not maintaining a state of salvation by my own life energy. Notice in this verse, I started out like everyone does, as a direct enemy of God, and was reconciled to God by the death of His dear Son.

MUCH MORE, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Boom-tastic!

Saved by HIS life.

Not saved by MY life.

That’s the different between every other pathway that promises eternal life vs. Christ.

I started naturally at enemy status.

Opposing another, resisting in the mind, even hostile against. A defensive posture.

Enemy status: even an antagonizer.

Some will claim, “I was never God’s enemy.”

God says you were His enemy.

Who is more correct?

We were reconciled to God by the death of His dear Son … how-so reconciled? Reconciled is the action of bringing into unity those who were at variance.

We are received into a state of favor. Did you read that twice? Your face should burst at this sentence. Do you smile much?

I was His enemy, and now I am reconciled through DEATH.

No other religion offers payment like that!

Only enemies need reconciliation.

Those who are convinced of themselves that they never were an enemy of God … need no great Saviour. And none will be provided to them.

“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” Galatians 4:16

Our natural gut-reaction when faced with the truth is antagonism. Claws come out.

“And [the apostle] said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?” Acts 13. Called him out.

Only those who admit they are in a state of animosity against Christ can receive Him gladly.

You receive NO offer if you view yourself as having no need.

Jesu said, “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Luke 5:32

Do you qualify, or are you “already righteous?”

“When Jesus heard it, He saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the Physician, but they that are sick:” Mark 2:17

Non-offenders need no Great Defender.

The innocent need no forgiveness.

There is no offer of salvation to those who see themselves as already rescued.

“Self-saved. I’m good. No thanks. Don’t need Jesus.”

The offer of reconciliation is only available to those who recognize their need.

The offer of rescue is only for the perishing.

The offer of spiritual healing is only for the sick.

The offer of eternal life is only for the dying.

The offer of adoption by our Heavenly Father is only valid for those who realize they are currently in the custody of their natural devil father.

The gospel is a tough wake-up call! Because it calls us what we are.

It’s hard to admit my original position before God.

Not one out of a hundred men will admit openly his struggle with pornography.

Likewise vary rare is the person who will openly declare, I admit I am a child of hell, and therefore I need great salvation.

Jesus walked on Earth, waking up the dead spiritually.

His words got people’s attention.

“And He [Jesus] said unto them [the religious Pharisees, who thought they were amazing], Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.” John 8.

Those are attention-getting words.

Jesus has to wake up the spiritually asleep. Those who thought they had attained a measure of self-righteousness through false traditions.

“Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love Me:” But you don’t. If God were your Father, you would recognize Me as Christ, your Brother, if we had the same spiritual Dad! “… for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of Myself, but He sent Me. Why do ye not understand My speech? even because ye cannot hear My word. [Why can you not hear?] Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: [He’s is calling-out their dad.] for he is a liar, and the father of it.  And because I tell you the TRUTH, ye believe Me not. … And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe Me? [Here's why.] He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.”

He said it graciously, compassionately, kindly, and clearly.

Trying to rescue them.

Everyone starts out in a bad way.

Here Christ called the spiritual elite, the ruling class of His day, “Ye are not of God.” That’s tough.

Everyone must first admit they are “not of God”, to then receive the gift of God, humbly.

The good news is:

For if, when we were enemies [of God], we were reconciled to God by the death of His [dear] Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” Romans 5:10.

Let it happen.
