I don’t write because I think I can. I am compelled to write. It just comes out of me. The focus of His smiling countenance shining upon my soul, causes me to burst forth with linguistic expressions of appreciation!
We cannot contain.
Our containers overflow! :)
Everyone’s already producing content daily.
The heart is not a safe deposit box. The heart is a squeezy-sponge that dispels excess liquid everywhere it goes.
Matthew 12:34 affirms “… for out of the ABUNDANCE of the heart the mouth speaketh.”
The heart and mind combine to pump out thoughts as often as our lungs pump oxygen.
Just can’t stop.
Heart pumps blood.
The brain pumps concepts.
Acts 4:20 “For we CANNOT BUT speak the things which we have seen and heard.”
Impossible not to.
Everybody already … including you … Everybody already produces plenty of content. Content makes contact with our community.
Our community needs Christ. Christ must be conveyed. And we are His humble conveyors.
We cannot fulfill our Great Commission from Christ to carry His gospel to every person on Earth by saturating our brain with Netflix corruption several hours daily.
Everyone’s heart and mouth are plenty-good at the natural performance. We can speak. We can think in sync. It’s just human design in motion.
We talk about what we think about.
That which flows into the eyeballs and through the auditory canals of our ears … will flow out the mouth as well.
“That which we have seen and heard DECLARE we unto you …” 1 John 1:3.
Each of us is overflowing with content. We are reaching our world with some sort of message currently.
All we have to do is adjust that message to be Christ-centric.
I marvel that more believers do not subscribe to gospel content. Is there something superior?
Stayed upon Jehovah. Mentally fascinated with Him. Almost to the point where we speak about Him naturally. It’s not forced anymore.
Imagine a scenario where 100% of every gospel believer becomes a gospel carrier. Everyone who names the name of Christ is committed to daily gospel content production and distribution. That would get the job done. There is no other way.
The individual delight of organically sharing the good news is strategically embedded by God inside the willing heart and mouth of every believer.
We are ready. We are designed for distribution. We were made for this. Our feet perform the beautiful function of motion. We go where the message is needed most.
“… as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:15. [exclamation point!]
The feet’s primary function: bring glad tidings of good things! With a smiley face! :)
Isaiah 52:7 “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth GOOD tidings of … GOOD, that PUBLISHETH salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!” [Note the verse culminates with an exclamation point, signifying emotional exuberance!]
Mouth is for praise.
We have endless days to praise. Let’s get this practice started right now!
I appreciate athletes who every time the interviewer sticks a microphone by their mouth, they mention appreciation for God.
Gospel makes mouth happy.
My mouth is designed by the Great Designer to carry His good news.
The average person speaks in the ballpark of 16,000 words per day, according to solid research referenced below.*
What percent of my 16,000 should be dedicated to the glory of God and the good of others?
17 minutes a day, we read words, on a page or screen.*
Acts 15:27 “We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall ALSO TELL you the same things by mouth.”
We wrote you a letter, and we additionally sent you two messengers to confirm and clarify the same message, verbally, face-to-face, by mouth. Because visually + verbally is best uptake.
Humans need to hear and see good news often.
The gospel is good enough to repeat daily.
Psalm 145:2 “Every day will I bless Thee; and I will praise Thy name for ever and ever.”
“I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” Psalm 34 of David.
What is my BRAIN fascinated and saturated with?
Is my MOUTH properly performing its designed function?
Is my HEART in the rhythmical exercise of expressing delight in the God of my salvation daily … and expressing that delight freely to everyone I contact?
Including the call center guy from the Philippines today, who talked about his desire to be a better father to his children. Which opened the door wide to express that intricately-woven tight communion between a man and his Heavenly Father as the best pattern to model communication skills to our children. Our outflow to others is just a trickle of the larger flow going through the channel of our spirit communing with our Heavenly Father. Those who have a weak connection upward will also have weak connections outward.
Our human communication skill will not exceed our spiritual communication skill.
Life is communion. Life is relationships. The primary of which is of course is God to man and man to God.
Please keep that primary flow healthy. Heaven in my heart. The natural result will be many doors opening. Many meaningful conversations transpiring. And the gospel multiplying.
