Where are we at? In the timeline of human history, what does the gathering of all the data that you have absorbed from various sources, mixed with your emotion and spirit and local experience tell you regarding our position in relation to previous generations?
Certainly the world has been at war before. Certainly tens of millions have been slaughtered due to various ideologies.
The world has recently passed a milestone of 8 billion population. The world stage of nations has several contenders rising. We don’t need a reminder of all the pride and contention in the world. But perhaps we do.
There’s something in our human nature that wants to protect ourselves from having to process all the evil and corruption of such a vast population mixed with a broad variety of governing styles. Massive governments. Massive evil in play. It’s becoming undeniable. The known future will arrive on time.
12 billion shots went out. Approximately 3 billion people received injections designed specifically by a company whose stated purpose is to write RNA into DNA thereby altering the genetic code of 3 billion humans. The impact on fertility and life expectancy are playing out in raw data before our eyes. Risk management / actuary companies that underwrite the bedrock of the insurance models of the world are staggering at the new data coming in.
Summary so far: the world has changed. And the world continues to change.
In light of these events beyond our local control, we must look ahead. We must look above. We must find solace and peace by weaving our heart and mind together with the perspective of Heaven. We must see something good beyond the now.
What this world needs today is the dynamite transformation power of God’s eternal gospel!
We need something to explode on the inside. We need internal transformation across entire societies. We need God to move inside the hearts and minds of people groups. That only happens with permission, upon accepting salvation on God‘s terms. One at a time, as swiftly as Divinely possible, let the people understand the gospel. So they can choose.
While the world seems fascinated with policy makers and government issues topping the charts of newscasts, capturing the curious eyeballs … meanwhile, the spiritual health of our country and other countries has not been carefully measured.
Gospel now. If we ever have needed the Lord before, we most assuredly do need Him immediately!
There must be urgency in our tone and tenacity of making the message known. It’s a very simple message.
God has designed a salvation plan for you personally.
Because there is a God, then by default I am a sinner.
Since I am a sinner, then I must face the penalty.
Since the penalty is too large, then I must need a great Saviour. My choice.
10 years from now, if you’re still experiencing this earthly existence, the world is not going to be a less contentious place. If we are still here a whole 10 years in the future, how old will you be then?
This world is winding down into the final funnel of God‘s wrath.
We cannot use our natural misperception that time will continue on as before … to justify our lack of urgency in this moment. We must allow the pressure of knowledge that Christ is soon arriving to move our feet and mouth into motion. Our feet to go, and our mouth to deliver. How so?
Diligently.
Daily.
Compassionately.
Conversationally.
Compellingly.
Blamelessly.
Simply.
Expecting Him.
Lighting up the glow now.
We 1000% know for certain that Christ is coming shortly.
2 Peter 3:10+ “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy *conversation* and godliness, *looking for and hasting unto* the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, *be diligent* that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless. … But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”
2 Corinthians 3:12 “Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech”
Grow in knowledge. Share gospel knowledge.
Give glory to God. Share the glory of God.
We see it. We see His train rolling into the station. We see the dissolving of all things physical. Therefore, our spirit and soul and heart and mind and body must be overflowing with gospel-going.
We cannot allow our knowledge of God to rot in the barn. Haggai 2:19 “Is the seed yet in the barn?” Get it out there! Distribution urgency. Distribution personally. Distribution regularly. Distribution joyfully. Distribution emotionally.
Psalm 126:5 “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”
Mark 4:3,13 explains, “Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: … The sower soweth the Word.”
You and I are farmers carrying the seed of the gospel.
Believers have every available avenue of distribution at their fingertips right now. We all are holding in our hands the key to reaching the world with the knowledge of the gospel of Christ.
Our hearts need simply Spirit-filling.
Our mouth needs joyful over-flowing.
If we’ve never been thankful for anything in our entire lives, we must today be thankful for our own salvation from everlasting damnation, by the everlasting God Himself.
Thankful enough to tell somebody, somewhere how to get to God.
Stop every excuse.
Be done with childish sloth.
You can push the button. You can share the simple gospel. You DO know enough about how to get to Heaven from here to tell at least one other human on this Earth today.
Let’s just have a 30-second face-to-face conversation with Christ himself. Let’s take the journey to Heaven real quick in your mind. And come face-to-face with the risen Christ. And He’s going to ask you this question… “Why the lack of urgency?”
The conversation continues internally:
You knew the truth. You held the truth. Where is the passion? Where is the fire? Is there no Hell? Where are your friends? I thought We had a relationship? But who did you tell?
