I believe ALL believers in Christ Jesus … should believe the gospel message so deeply that their belief moves them to compassionate action daily.
Moved, from the heart, expressing the goodness of the gospel of God to the spiritually hungry and the hurting. They need it!
Believe Christ is worthy of sharing.
Believe the Gospel still carries dynamite power.
Believe Jesus WANTS to seek and to save lost sheep.
Believe someone along life’s digital pathway today is spiritually seeking.
Believe God appreciates servants, sharing spiritual content.
Our phones must be gospel-saturated. When you search the word “Gospel” through everything on your phone, how many results do you see?
Believe God is still in the soul-rescuing business.
Believe the Word of God is quicker and sharper than anything we could describe.
Believe people want to hear Truth.
Believe … God.
Allow the heart and imagination to immerse itself in the reality, that God truly exists.
The Gospel is love!
Believe so pervasively and be so saturated of heart and mind, indeed over-filled with the knowledge of the great gospel that such precious knowledge over-spills out onto our socials even. :)
“Sorry, not sorry: I just had to hit share ✝️ again today.”
Believe unashamedly that Christ is the Door, the Way, the Ticket 🎟️ , the Rescuer, the One Savior for humanity.
We’ve got to believe something, and that something must move us to loving action.
No one is going to BLOCK me from believing … and ACTING upon the power of the Gospel. The message will go forth, even after midnight, with joy and singing!
Let’s believe to boarder-line crazy-level! Really-really believe. Talk about it, think about it, do something with it; that sort of belief-level.
Become the “gospel guy” or the “gospel gal”. So that everyone knows if they’re going to have a conversation with you longer than ten minutes … the Gospel is going to be magnified.
If you’re going to get blocked by friends … what better reason to be blocked than “over-sharing" the gospel message? :)
Here’s a verse: “For whether we be beside ourselves [that phrase means: clinically insane, duo-persona, outside and beyond our normal selves, displaced from a boring position, to be out of one's mind, standing beside one's self, insane] … For whether we be ‘beside ourselves’ it is to God: or whether we be sober [meaning: of sound mind, be in one's right mind] it is for your cause. For the love of Christ constraineth us [Greek word is synechō: means holds us together with constraint, to compress / press together with the hands, held by, closely preoccupied with, fascinated so much upon as compelling one to have to teach, arrested thereby, urging & compelling the soul to out-flow] … For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if One died for all, then were all dead [meaning every single one, being pre-dead, needs this vital information]: and that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but [live] unto Him which died for them, and rose again. And … God … hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath COMMITTED unto us the word of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians chapter 5.
Matthew Henry commentary on this passage says, “Can any lose, labour, or suffer too much for Him, Who gave His beloved Son to be the Sacrifice for their sins, that they might be made the righteousness of God in Him?”
That key phrase …
committed unto us:
In Greek means: put in us [this great responsibility of persuading reconciliation]
~ from the King James marginal notes
We are in effect the “relationship counselor”, assigned to bring peace and harmony between rebellious sinners and a holy God.
The phrase “to wit”: is a relative adverb signifying "as," or "how," is used in 2 Cor 5:19 to introduce the statement "that God was in Christ, reconciling ...," ~ from the Vine’s Expository Dictionary
“To wit [as how], that God was in Christ, reconciling”
Attempting reconciliation in the pattern, and with the same power of God, AS HOW Christ worked diligently at reconciling sinners to Himself.
“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God” 2 Cor 5:20.
As though standing here in the shoes of Christ and beseeching, even begging you PLEASE on bended knee, “be reconciled to God!” With pathos and tears and logic.
“God was in Christ, reconciling.” Somewhat similarly, according to that pattern, God also is in us reconciling two parties: the world … unto Himself.
Consider deeply: how does the reconciliation begin? God makes the first move. “not imputing their trespasses unto them”!!! What a message indeed we carry! What a first-move by God! Right out of the box!
“Dear world, God is NOT imputing your trespasses onto you.” Reconciliation is NOW made possible. We all offended God deeply. YET God wants to “make right” this relationship.
God would rather, willingly impute my tall stack of trespasses upon His own dear Son instead of on me!
If that news doesn’t make you jump inside, there might not be anything inside. :)
See yourself as that Criminal, guilty of crimes worthy of 100+ years solitary confinement and torture … now being offered a pathway to freedom by transferring your crimes over … onto Someone else.
Can you feel the atmosphere of that court room? Let’s go in. Can you place yourself INSIDE the orange jumpsuit and in those leg irons? As the person being accused. Can you hear the gavel and see the elevated judge declaring his verdict? All rise. “Your sentence has been commuted onto a worthy Substitute, willing to serve the full penalty for all your crimes listed here. This court is NOT imputing your trespasses unto you. Free to go.”
Do you collapse in emotional overwhelm? Or do you jump up out of your chair for joy and love? Who is this innocent Person willing to serve my lifetime sentence??? Can I meet Him? Why would anyone love me so? Can I give Him a hug?
Reconciled to God through the Son.
Reconciled through transfer of penalty due.
Dude, if you don’t lose at least a couple fake friends over your effervescent enthusiasm over the discovery and daily declaration of the gospel … maybe you didn’t hear it clearly enough. :)
We are ambassadors!
Why are we ambassadors?
What message are we carrying for the King? Why are we rigorously passionate about proclaiming and ensuring the safe delivery of this precious gospel message … so excited indeed, that we are even considered by some to be crazy?! “Beside yourself.” Here’s the cause:
“For He [that’s God] hath made Him [that’s Christ] to be sin for us, Who [Christ] knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.”
Absolutely illogical.
Absolutely undeserved.
That’s the largest Gift ever.
What a transfer!
God made Jesus sin for us, He Who was not a sinner made sin, so that I can be made … (and there’s no better words than how God fresh-pressed this thought originally) “that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.”
Insane!
How could anyone contain!
How could we not shout it out?

Call my top five favorite people in the whole world, on my phone all at once on a group call. “Hello? Yes … just want to let you all know … I was headed for the pit of destruction, totally deserving separation from society and all pleasant things, being cut off from the presence of God for the rest of life on Earth, and for the entire lifetime yet to come. So I went to court today, to be sentenced to prison for ever and ever in fire … YET GOD stepped in to impute (that’s my new favorite word!) to impute … my long list of damning criminal activities over … He picked them up over, and He put them upon His own dear Son! His Son took my penalty and not only so … but God also [get this part now] God also made me … (what does it say here? I can’t believe this part either) God MADE ME to become “the righteousness of God in Him [Christ].” 😳 Hmmmm, no words.
