How To Be A Sinner
In three easy steps
1. Be born
Not in some special way.
Just the normal route.
Job 14:1 “Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.”
Born once.
2. Have a heart
Matthew 15:19 “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.”
Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the HEART 🖤, I try the reins…”
Just a normal heart will do.
3. Remain the Same
Continue therein. No changes. Just be normal. Keep on traveling the same road. No course-corrections. Stay in the state you’re in. Remain in place.
John 8:24 “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am He [The Messiah / Christ], ye shall die in your sins.”
If we die in this sinful condition, we are in trouble.
No second birth?
No new heart?
Those who stop at this point do not move on.
Rehearsing so far: if I am only born once, and I keep my original heart … I experience no new birth, and I receive no new heart or new nature … then I stay in my sins, and I am fully responsible for the results of all those sins. You do not have to die like this.
By contrast, 1 John 5:1 “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is BORN of God …”
Born twice!
New nature!
Now capable of conducting divine love from God, through us, to brothers and sisters.

1 Peter 1:20+ “Who [speaking of Christ] verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times FOR YOU, seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit UNTO unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a PURE heart FERVENTLY: being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”
Interesting correlation of two concepts there: 1. love fervently, because 2. you are born anew. Behave as such.
“… see that ye love one another with a PURE heart FERVENTLY: BEING born again…”
An unexplainable, divine-level love pouring-forth fervently, white-hot and pure, is strong evidence of a new nature, being born of the Spirit within.
(Do we love people with a God-level love?)
1 John 4:7 “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth [truly loveth] is BORN of God, and knoweth God.”
Galatians 4:29 “But as then he that was BORN after the FLESH persecuted him that was BORN after the Spirit, even so it is now.”
One person in this verse had the flesh birth: while the other person had the Spirit birth.
The drastic difference caused conflict.
Do you have two natures?
There are ample opportunities provided to resolve the sin issue by accepting the Truth about God’s Son.
Please do not remain in an unresolved sinful state.
Much better to experience sin-dissolution through power of the New Birth.
Bible math works like this:
Born once = die twice. (First death & second death.)
Born twice = die just once. (The physical passes while soul and spirit transition upward.)
This new nature is from our new Father.
Strong evidence should exude, effervesce, and glow from within those who are truly born from above, documenting that indeed a new Person dwells within us.
What sort of evidence?
New words
New walk
New appetites
New peace
New assurance
New friends
New music
New thoughts
New habits
New courage
New purpose
New perspective
New motives
A whole new person
How to be a sinner in 3 easy steps:
Be born
Have a heart
Stay like that
Please do not stay in the original nature alone. Graduate to being born with a new nature. Only through Christ.
Be curious about the new birth.
Ask God to clarify what being born again means. Experience the new birth! God would love for you to join His family. :-)
