On tune, in harmony with Heaven. I want to hear the heartbeat of my Father.
“And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of My Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24. Jesus speaking to His disciples and to us.
Don’t get ahead of God. But tarry.
Get the filing first.
He will fill everything that we yield to Him.
Oh, to be led by God.
Oh, to be filled with His Spirit!
Isaiah 58:11 “And the LORD shall guide thee continually, …”
Please God, make it true.
We are all emptiness before Him.
Yet through fullness of the Spirit of Christ, we can go with courage speaking to anyone He has asked us to address with the gospel.
The gospel can be expressed through pen, through microphone, on smartphone, notebook, camera.
Through yielding to the fullness of the power of His Spirit, we will get the message out to all 8 billion souls on Earth.
Through the filling we get the inside outside.
God inside moving freely to do as He pleases, when He wills.
Here’s our prayer: Less of me, more of He & we.
The Scripture says, “tarry ye … until ye be endued with power from on high.” We certainly need that.
Ephesians 6:6 “ … as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart”
Give me a heart like Your heart, dear God.
Romans 10:1 “Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for [insert any nation] is, that they might be saved.”
We want Your true and pure heart, O God. May it beat inside our chest.
Matt 11:29 Jesus invites us, “Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” How-so? Working together.
1 Chronicles 29:17 “I know also, my God, that Thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy Thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto Thee.”
Examine and exercise my heart to make it ready for Your use.
Psalm 17:3 “Thou hast proved mine heart; Thou hast visited me in the night; Thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.”
Wow. Heart surgery volunteer, right here ready.
Psalm 19:14 “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.”
Psalm 27:8 “When thou saidst, Seek ye My face; my heart said unto Thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.”
Wow. Give me that attitude.
Jeremiah 24:7 “And I will give them an heart to know Me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be My people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto Me with their whole heart.”
100%.
Give me a heart desiring to know Thee.
Jeremiah 32 reveals God’s heart and soul for His people. Of which I am one. :)
“… and I will cause them to dwell safely: and they shall be My people, and I will be their God: and I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear Me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from Me. Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with My whole heart and with My whole soul.”
That’s God’s vision for us. May we hear and feel His heartbeat and act in harmony therewith.
